Your password must at least be composed of 6 characters.
- How do I connect to the website?
Click on "Identification", enter your e-mail addresse and the password you chose while registering, then confirm by clicking on the arrow.
- Why am I automatically connected?
Your connection is automatic thanks to cookies settlement on your computer. You can delete them through your navigator.
- What should I do if I forgot my password?
Click on "Identification" on the home page, then click on "forgotten password". Enter your e-mail address, a new password will be sent.

To start a SmartRadio from the track you're listening to, you have to click on "Start a SmartRadio", a smart radio will then start, allowing you to discover new songs similar to the one you were listening to.
- How do I download the track I'm listening to?
To download a track you're listening to, click on "Download", choose the online music retailer you want to buy the track from, you will then be redirected to the page from which you'll be able to directly buy the song.
- How do I find the internet address allowing people to directly listen to the song i'm listening to?
To share a song you're listening to with your friends you can give them the address.
- How do I create a player with this track to broadcast it on my Blog/Website?
To obtain the HTML code to add a mini player to your Blog/Website, go to the player when you're listening to a song, copy the code in the "Embeddable Player" section and paste it to your Blog/Website, you can also use the "Copy" button to automatically copy it.
- How do I add the song I'm listening to to one of my playlists?
To add the song you're listening to to one of your playlists, click on the "+" located on the right of the player, select the playlist in which you want to add the track and confirm, the song is now available in your playlist.
- How do I change the playing mode?
To change the playing mode you just have to click on the dedicated buttons on the player, you can choose to play songs randomly, to repeat them infinitely or to repeat them just once.
- How do I create a playlist?

Click on "I don't like", the track won't be suggested in the smartradio you've just launched.
- Can I move forward in a title?
No, but you are able to pause the smartradio.
- If I like a song, can I add it to a playlist?
Yes, by clicking on the "+" on the Deezer player.
- Why am I forced to launch a smartradio when I want to listen to some tracks?
When we do not have the rights to offer a song using Music-On-Demand in a country we offer the users to start a smartradio instead because it's a listening protocol between the radio and music on demand.
- What is a BlindTest?
A BlindTest is a game which offers you a list of tracks to listen to, and for each of them, the Deezernautes must guess which artist sings the song.
- How do I create a BlindTest?
Click on "Music" on the homepage, then click on "BlindTest" in the left menu. Then you can click on "Create a BlindTest" on the top of the page.
- How many titles can there be in a BlindTest?
A BlindTest can be composed of 5 to 20 songs.
- How do I add titles to a BlindTest?
To add a title, drag and drop them to your BlindTest in the left menu.
- Can I use a playlist to create a BlindTest?
Yes, click on the BlindTest you have just created, then click on "Import a playlist". The 20 first tracks of the chosen playlist will be kept for the BlindTest.
- How do I select the different possible answers for each question?
Once a title is added to the BlindTest, you can select different answers choices, which will be suggested to the players. After you selected your BlindTest, click on "edit answers" for each title and chose wrong answers, that means artists different from the one who sings the song.
- Why, for some titles, are wrong answers already automatically selected by Deezer?
Deezer automatically selects 4 wrong answers when psosible. Those wrongs answers are generated according the similar artists.
- Why is there a red light on the right of some titles?
The red light means you need to add artists to make wrong answers.
- How do I delete a track in a BlindTest?
Click on the red cross on the right of a track to delete it before releasing a BlindTest.
- How to I defy my friend in a BlindTest?
Once a BlindTest is created, and once titles and wrong answers are added, click on "Publish". Then you can invite your Deezerneaute friends to make your BlindTest, by selecting them and clicking on "send invitations".
- How do I play a BlindTest?
To play a BlindTest, select the quizz you want to make, then click on "Launch the quizz". For each title, try to guess which artist sings this track. One good answer gives you 1 point, one wrong answer takes you 1 point off. If you don't know the answer, you can pass.
- How do I modify a BlindTest?
One published, a BlindTest can't be modified.

One published, a BlindTest can't be deleted.
- How to change my profile picture?
To change your profile picture, you have to go the "My pictures" section and to click on "Add a picture", select the picture you want to use and select it once it appeared on the page, click on "Save" to confirm the change.
- How do I do for others to be able to see my favourite musical genres?
To select the musical genres you like, go to the "My profile" section, then in "My musical genres", select the genres you like, you can rate them according to your tastes, 1 being the ones you like the least and 10 the ones you like the most.
- How to change my personal information?
To modify your personal information go to your profile then click on "My Information", from there you'll be able to edit your personal information, to add your instant messaging accounts so that others can contact you, etc…
- How to change my preferences?
To modify your preferences on the website, go to the "My profile" selection and click on "My preferences", from there you'll be able to choose whether or not you'll receive the newsletter, the way the different sections are displayed on your profile page, etc...
- How do I see my profile?
To see your profile you just have to go to the community section and to click on "See my profile".
- How do I see the messages that others left me on my Sonic Wall?
To see the messages left by other members on your Sonic wall, go to the Community section and click "My sonic wall", from there you'll be able to see the messages other people left you, delete them or answer them by writing on their Sonic Wall.
- How can I find a friend who is already on Deezer?
Go to the "Community" menu then, on the main page, enter his Deezer nick and / or his (or her) age, gendre, country, musical tastes… In search results, if you find the right person, you can have a look at his/her sheer, or add him/her to your friends. This person will be visible in your "My Friends" menu.
- What are "friends pending" and "received invitations"
The "Friends pending" menu is the list of people you requested as friends, but who did not accept your request yet. On the opposite, the "Received invitations" menu is the list of people who want to be friends with you. You can choose whether to accept or not this request.
- Can I invite friends to join Deezer?
Yes, to do so, go to "Invite my friends", and enter your friends' e-mail addresses. You can also add a personal message for them.
- Can I invited Google Mail, Yahoo! Mail, AOL or Hotmail contacts?
Yes, all you need is to click on your webmail provider in "Invite my friends", and to enter your identifications information. Then, you can invite your contacts. No personnal data is kept by Deezer.
